2024 POP Golf Outing

Join us for the Charity Golf Outing hosted by the Knights of Colombus on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Reunion Country Club. The event is open to both men and women. Encounter

Join us this Friday for a day of Encounter 9am: Our day of prayer begins with Mass in English. 9:30am-7pm: After Mass, Father will expose the Blessed Sacrament on the main altar of the Church for silent prayer. Adoration will continue in the Church until 7pm. Parishioners, friends, ministries, and small groups are encouraged to visit and adore Jesus. 7pm: We will begin a special period of praise & worship, prayer & reflection, culminating with Benediction.

Pet Blessing

In honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment, Prince of Peace invites you to join us for a special Outdoor Pet Blessing on Saturday, October 5 at 10am in the back plaza/grassy area. Bring your furry, feathery, scaly, or even spiky companions to receive a blessing! All pets are welcome whether they bark, purr, chirp, or crawl. This is a beautiful opportunity to ask for God’s blessing on the animals that bring us so much joy, love, and companionship. We look forward to celebrating with you and your beloved pets!

The Blessed Sacrament is exposed all night after the 5pm Saturday Mass and is reposed before the 7:30am Sunday Mass. Prayers are led in Spanish by the Nocturnal Adoration group, but everyone is welcome to join at any time throughout the night. Nocturnal adoration is a Catholic devotional practice where parishioners gather for prayer and worship before the Blessed Sacrament during nighttime hours. Learn more by clicking here.

GriefShare

Have you experienced the death of a family member or friend? The Grief Share Group will walk through the grieving process with you. After the funeral, most of the people around you return to their normal lives, but your grief continues, and you feel alone; you have difficulty coping. Our Grief Share Group understands because we have been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.
