First Eucharist

Grades 2-5

Through the Sacrament of the Eucharist, we are able to more closely Encounter Christ together and be spiritually fed and strengthened to Live as Disciples in our world.

The Journey

At Prince of Peace, the journey towards the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist takes a minimum of 2 years. All preparation classes, meetings, and retreats will be held on campus.

If your child has not been Baptized, please refer to the Baptism page for more information.

Children and parents’ participation at Mass is expected.

Year One (Click Here)

Year One is the foundational year.

  • Children must be in at least 1st Grade.
  • Children complete one full year of faith formation (POP Families) immediately prior to beginning Year Two.
  • Children who have not yet been Baptized are welcome to attend POP Families. If you are seeking sacraments for your unbaptized child, you must register them for Baptism by clicking here.
