    Do you want to learn to achieve silence and peace? To free you from anguish and fear? Come, learn to live, attend a Prayer and Life Workshop! During the 15 week workshop participants will learn a practical method of prayer, learning to pray by praying. Through the practice of faith and surrender and as a result of praying, participants begin to heal the wounds of the heart and experience greater serenity. By contemplating the image of Jesus and imitating his characteristics, participants slowly begin to be transformed into a person more like Jesus. Available Options: • Tuesdays, 10am–Noon, beginning January 14 • Tuesdays, 7pm–9pm, beginning January 14

    The True Treasures of the Church: An Introduction to Catholic Social Teaching

    The True Treasures of the Church: An Introduction to Catholic Social Teaching Two-Part Series in English | April 24 & May 1 | 7-8:30pm In this two-part series, Deacon Larry will be providing an introduction to Catholic Social Teaching focusing on the importance of working in those ministries of justice and peace. We will explore the background and development of social teaching and justice as provided in the Holy Scriptures and in the documents of the Church showing that social justice is not a concept developed during Vatican II but has its roots as far back as Genesis. We will discuss sin and its social dimension, especially its impact on those suffering or in need. We will look at the seven themes of Catholic Social Teaching and how we, as Christ’s disciples, can work as citizens of the kingdom of heaven through participating in justice and mercy ministries and in community action. We will show that through our loving relationships with each other, especially those on the margins, we not only build a more just world but also deepen our relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.   • Divine Mercy Celebration

    Save the date for our Divine Mercy Holy Hour on Saturday, April 26, following the 4 pm Mass. Come honor the Feast of Divine Mercy with solemn veneration of the Divine Mercy image, meaningful reflections, the recitation of the Chaplet, and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Did you know that Jesus promises “Extraordinary Graces” on Divine Mercy Sunday (April 27)? As revealed to St. Faustina: “I want to grant a complete pardon to the souls that go to Confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of My Mercy.” This grace offers complete forgiveness of sins and all punishment due, much like the grace of Baptism. To receive it: simply make a good Confession (even in the days leading up to Divine Mercy Sunday) and worthily receive Holy Communion on Divine Mercy Sunday. A plenary indulgence is also available by fulfilling the usual conditions.

    Fr. Pete Coppola will celebrate a bilingual Mass of Suffrage for Pope Francis at noon on Monday, April 28, 2025. All are welcome to join as we continue to pray for the repose of his soul, for the people God entrusted to his care, and for his successor. Mass will be livestreamed.
