    Lent: The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

    Wednesday, March 12 | 10am to 12pm Thursday, March 13 | 6:30pm to 8:30pm Presented by Sister Susan Arcaro, rc in English Each year, we are called to embrace Lent with a spirit of sacrifice, contrition, and reparation. Rarely, however, do we consider Lent as a journey of incredible love, unimaginable joy, or ardent longing. The wonder of Lent begins with an invitation to ‘see’ more clearly how deeply God loves us and continues with our desire to respond with fervent love to LOVE everlasting.     Prayer and Life Workshop (English Series)

    Do you want to learn to achieve silence and peace? To free you from anguish and fear? Come, learn to live, attend a Prayer and Life Workshop! During the 15 week workshop participants will learn a practical method of prayer, learning to pray by praying. Through the practice of faith and surrender and as a result of praying, participants begin to heal the wounds of the heart and experience greater serenity. By contemplating the image of Jesus and imitating his characteristics, participants slowly begin to be transformed into a person more like Jesus.

    The Little Flower Group 2:42

    The Little Flower Group 2:42 is a group of women who are committed to following the teachings of the apostles, participating in fellowship, attending mass, and devoting themselves to prayer (Acts 2:42). Each year, they offer programs that provide an opportunity for women to come together for meaningful discussion, prayer, and mutual support. Their Small Group creates a welcoming space where participants can truly be seen and heard. This Lent, they will focus on “The Bible and the Virgin Mary”, a faith resource by FORMED, only in Spanish. Join The Little Flower Group 2:42 and learn why the early Church called Mary the "New Eve" and the "Ark of the New Covenant," and strengthen your devotion to Our Blessed Mother.     Family Adoration

    Teaching your children to adore Jesus in the Eucharist is a gift they will never forget. Join us for our monthly Family Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Wiggly and giggly kids of all ages and their parents are invited to come and spend time with Jesus!

    All are welcome to come for as little or as long as you can, but we ask, if you are able to make the commitment, to please sign up at the link below so we know that at least one family will be present to be a guardian for the Blessed Sacrament at all times.

    Join The Little Flower Group on Saturday, March 15, from 12pm to 3pm in the Youth Room for their Community Baby Shower, a special event to celebrate the gift of life! This free event is open to all expectant mothers who are at least 4 months pregnant or have a baby up to 1 month old. What to Expect: • Fun games and a photo booth • Helpful presentations and resources • Raffles and giveaways • Mental health support, postpartum care, and baby wellness • Refreshments for everyone Special Gift: All expectant mothers will receive a baby bag filled with clothes (sizes 3–6 months) and diapers.     Alpha Course

    This Alpha Course will meet weekly on Tuesdays from 7p-8:30p Join a series of group conversations that freely explore the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. At each Alpha session, you will share a meal, watch an episode on a different question of faith - and then have a chance to share your thoughts and hear what others think. You can say anything you like or nothing at all. Everyone is welcome, no matter your background or beliefs. It’s FREE, and there is no pressure to come back. Meal and childcare will be provided. Volunteer Opportunity: We need volunteers to make each Alpha session happen. If you have never volunteered before, we will train you. Training will be conducted 01/14/2025 at 6:30pm.
