After the funeral, most of the people around you return to their normal lives, but your grief continues, and you feel alone; you have difficulty coping. Our Grief Share Group understands because we have been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future. We will start a new 14-week session in English on Saturday, January 6, from 9:30am to 11:30am. To enroll, contact Trudy M. at 678-641-4956 or griefshare@popfb.org.

Epiphany Party

Join us on January 6th, we celebrate the Epiphany of the Lord, Jesus’ manifestation to the whole world after being revealed to the shepherds of Bethlehem. The Magi are the first Gentile witnesses of his message of universal salvation, and so with this feast, we celebrate the fulfillment of God’s Advent promises.

Rediscovering The Riches of Vatican II

Pope Francis has asked Catholics to study the Second Vatican Council before the Holy Year 2025. In response to his call, Sister Susan Arcaro is presenting a four-part series that will offer us a renewed and deeper study of the riches of the Second Vatican Council, and prepare us for Jubilee Year 2025. As “Pilgrims of Hope,” we will focus on the key themes, major documents, historical context, and legacy of the Second Vatican Council. This series is offered in English. For questions, please contact Carmela Trevino at 678-960-0069 or by email at carmela@popfb.org.

Event Series Coffee and Donuts

Coffee and Donuts

Join us for Coffee and Donuts in the Atrium after the 7:30am & 9:30am Masses. This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with our parish family! Coffee and Donuts is offered several times throughout the year.

Event Series Alpha Course

Alpha Course (In Person)

This Alpha Course will meet weekly on Tuesdays from  7:00pm to 8:30pm in person. Alpha is a series of conversations about things we all question in life: Why do bad things happen to good people? What's the purpose of life? What's next? If you're looking for a judgment-free space to ask hard questions and share your own opinion, this is the place for you.

The Columbiettes Come & See

Join the Columbiettes! A national organization of Catholic women (18+) dedicated to our Patronesses, Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Theresa the Little Flower, and St. Joan of Arc, which is comprised of affiliated Auxiliaries of the Knights of Columbus Councils. Women do not have to have a male family member in the Knights of Columbus to join! Columbiettes exist to build up a community of women who share the same faith values, who desire to have community and host events that bring other women, families, and guests to an encounter with Jesus. We gather ten times a year for our regular meetings in addition to special events we support or host for the parish. Come be a part of this great opportunity and consider inviting a friend to come along with you! Please join us on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 5:30pm for a Come and See followed by an Initiation Ceremony at 6:30 pm to become a Columbiette. For questions or more information, please email Dianne Falce at dfalce3447@att.net before January 12, 2024.

Mass for the Preborn

A Mass for the Preborn will be celebrated at Prince of Peace on Saturday, January 20, at 9am. The Church recognizes the "Preborn" as children in any stage of development from conception until birth. We observe this date as a day of prayer for the legal protection of preborn children, for an end to abortion, for the conversion of heart for those who advance the abortion culture, and for real solutions for mothers in need, and that those who have experienced abortion will open themselves up to receive God's mercy and healing. The Pro-Life Movement, however, is about much more than abortion. We value all life as precious from conception to natural death. It is, therefore, an appropriate time to commemorate the memory of ALL children who were lost, not only to abortion, but also stillbirth, miscarriage, or sudden infant death. The holy sacrifice will be offered for all these intentions.

Event Series Family Adoration

All are welcome to come for as little or as long as you can, but we ask, if you are able to make the commitment, to please sign up at the link below so we know that at least one family will be present to be a guardian for the Blessed Sacrament at all times.
