“Princeps Pacis loquitur susurris in intimis cordis” (The Prince of Peace speaks in whispers in the depths of the heart).
It is in silence that we make room for another to speak, that we make room to receive another. To hear God’s call, we must enter into silence, for He “whispers in the depths of the heart” and shows us, in these depths, the deepest desires He has created us with.
