Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary is an important Catholic Holy Day of Obligation, celebrating the belief that the Virgin Mary was taken body and soul into heaven at the end of her earthly life. It underscores Mary’s purity, her role as the Mother of God, and her close relationship with Jesus Christ.

• Thursday, August 14: Vigil Mass at 7pm (esp)
• Friday, August 15: 9am, 12:15pm, 7pm

Please Note: There will not be an Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The chapel will remain open for private prayer from 9am to 9pm.
