For many years, Prince of Peace has honored our dear friend, Deacon Bill Speed, with a scholarship that he created to recognize high school students who served as altar servers throughout all four years of high school.

While we continue to honor Deacon Bill Speed, there are other deacons, past and present, who deserve recognition for their service to this community over the years. Specifically, Deacon Paul Krarup, Deacon Al Samoranski, and Deacon Joe Fugere, may they rest in peace, and Deacon Mike Jones, who is retired after decades of faithful service to our church.
