That’s why we set aside time for Encounter\, a day dedicated to prayer\, adoration\, and personal connection with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. \nEucharistic Adoration is a powerful way to spend quiet time with the Lord\, to rest in His presence\, and to allow Him to speak to our hearts. Whether you can come for a few minutes or stay for an hour\, your time before the Blessed Sacrament is an offering of love and trust. \nThis Friday\, we invite you to make space in your day to be with Jesus. Come whenever your schedule allows: \n9am: Our day of prayer begins with Mass in English. \n9:30am-7pm: After Mass\, Father will expose the Blessed Sacrament on the main altar of the Church for silent prayer. Adoration will continue in the Church until 7pm. Everyone is welcome—parishioners\, friends\, visitors\, ministries\, and small groups are all encouraged to come\, spend time with Jesus\, and adore Him in the Blessed Sacrament. \n7pm: We will begin a special period of praise & worship\, prayer & reflection\, culminating with Benediction.

Come discover the rich history of this 200-year-old ministry and learn how SVDP–Prince of Peace serves our local community. You’ll hear how we not only address food insecurity through our food pantry\, but also help prevent home evictions\, keep neighbor’s utilities from being shut off\, and more. \nWhether you’re curious about our ministry\, discerning a call to serve\, or simply want to learn how our parish walks with those in need\, we would love for you to join us.
