    Encounter

In our busy lives, it's easy to lose sight of the One who gives us true peace and purpose. That’s why we set aside time for Encounter, a day dedicated to prayer, adoration, and personal connection with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Eucharistic Adoration is a powerful way to spend quiet time with the Lord, to rest in His presence, and to allow Him to speak to our hearts. Whether you can come for a few minutes or stay for an hour, your time before the Blessed Sacrament is an offering of love and trust. This Friday, we invite you to make space in your day to be with Jesus. Come whenever your schedule allows: 9am: Our day of prayer begins with Mass in English. 9:30am-7pm: After Mass, Father will expose the Blessed Sacrament on the main altar of the Church for silent prayer. Adoration will continue in the Church until 7pm. Everyone is welcome—parishioners, friends, visitors, ministries, and small groups are all encouraged to come, spend time with Jesus, and adore Him in the Blessed Sacrament. 7pm: We will begin a special period of praise & worship, prayer & reflection, culminating with Benediction.

  • Corpus Christi Procession

On the feast of Corpus Christi, Catholic communities worldwide come together to celebrate through Eucharistic processions—a powerful public expression of faith that carries the Blessed Sacrament beyond the church walls and into the streets. This year, Prince of Peace will hold a special Eucharistic Procession following the 5pm Mass on Sunday, June 22. While in previous years we have kept the procession simple and inside the church, we are excited to honor the rich tradition of the Church by bringing the Blessed Sacrament outside. The procession will lead to the edge of our property, near the main entrance. Through this visible act of devotion, we hope to share with the Flowery Branch community our deep love and reverence for our Eucharistic Lord.
